A case of shingles had left one of my patients with herpetic neuralgia, which had produced intense nerve pain in her forehead and eyebrows for three years since her illness. She tried acupuncture, painkillers, and various other treatments, none of which had relieved the pain at all. When she came to see me she said that her pain was constantly between 8 and 10 on a scale of 10.

We worked on the patient’s lymphatic system and on a number of nerve points throughout the body with cold laser before treating the painful area on her face directly. After only one or two treatments the pain from herpetic neuralgia reduced considerably and has continued to reduce over a period of six months where it is now hardly noticeable. Length between treatments has also reduced and the symptoms do not increase. A very successful result for treating what can be an excruciating condition.
