Using low level laser to treat warts and verruca is non-invasive, pain-free and remarkably effective, as reported in a number of clinical trials across the UK (see British Medical Journal and Turner).
Unlike alternatives methods for wart/verruca removal which ‘burn’ or cut the wart or verruca (often resulting in their return), low level laser does not create scar tissue, or hurt. Rather, low level laser rapidly generates new cells beneath the wart or verruca to encourage tissue growth of healthy skin in its place.
Many podiatrists use low level laser for treating their patients, including for nail fungus.
Verruca/wart treatments are available at Laser Medicine, London.
