Dr. Pinelopi Chrysikou

Dr Pinelopi Chrysikou, is a specialist General Medical Practitioner practising in Functional Medicine. She supports our work with Hypothyroidism from Hashimoto’s Disease, and Fertility and is available to support Laser Medicine patients in a medical capacity. Pinelopi is a GMC registered Doctor.

Dr Pinelopi Chrysikou qualified as a Medical Doctor from Semmelweiss University, Budapest and gained additional qualifications in homeopathy, acupuncture and holistic therapy. Dr Pinelopi treats adults and children, and works in the English and Greek languages. Dr Penelopi Chrysikou went on to qualify as a Homeopathic Medical Doctor, employing holistic treatment methods including Bach Remedies, Acupuncture, and Nutrition.

Functional Medicine examines all the systems of the body to identify and address imbalances, either which are in the process of development, or that have already caused disease. In particular, compromised gut health can “switch on” potential diseases. “All diseases begin from the gut” (Hippocrates). Functional Medicine aims to free the organism from unnecessary burden and eventually support, repair and strengthen the systems that need it.
