Dr Geetha Venkat is the clinical director at the Harley Street Fertility Clinic and has more than twenty years of experience in the field. She tailors treatments to the needs of her patients while incorporating the latest developments in the field. Dr Venkat presents her work regularly in conferences and has published articles in many peer reviewed journals. She has also contributed two chapters to the authoritative book on โDonor Egg IVFโ, published in 2008. As Clinical Director, Dr Venkat is one of our key Laser Medicine Associates, leading our work in our Health Optimisation Suite, focussing on the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Whole Body Photobiomodulation Therapy for Fertility and Reproductive Health

Dr George Ndukwe MD, FRCOG.
Fertility Consultant and Immunology Expert
Dr George Ndukwe is a renowned IVF specialist with over 38 years experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Ndukweโs specialism is recurrent IVF failure/miscarriage and has run one of the largest recurrent IVF failure programmes in Europe over the past 21 years. Dr Ndukwe is a world acknowledged expert in Reproductive Immunology, and is a Fellow of the American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI) and a member of its Clinical Immunology Board. Dr George is an important member of our Laser Medicine Associates, working closely with the Laser Medicine team on our Ovarian Rejuvenation Programme, and exploring the potential benefits of HBOT for egg quality and IVF success.

Professor Dr. Reem Hanna

Prof. Dr Reem Hanna is a senior educator, clinician and experienced researcher, and a key member of Laser Medicine Associates. Prof. Hanna lectures nationally and internationally on the use of photobiomodulation, antimicrobial photodynamic therapy and surgical lasers for various oral applications and diseases. She is principal investigator in achieving PBM consensus for various clinical applications. Prof. Hanna fulfils the role of co-author and corresponding author on all Laser Medicine research papers.
Prof. Hanna is a faculty member at Department of Surgical Sciences and Integrated Diagnostics, University of Genoa (UniGe), where she teaches an Academic Master Degree Programme in Laser Dentistry. She is a specialist and consultant oral Surgeon at London NHS Hospitals, and an Honorary Associate Professor at UCL-Eastman Dental Institute in London, UK, where she is academic coordinator and lead of Fellowship Courses in Laser Dentistry.
Prof. Hanna is a Fellow Academy of Higher Education, UK and International academy of Dento-Facial Esthetic, New York. Prof. Hanna achieved her PhD in Photomedicine from UniGe in 2020 with distinction.
Prof. Hanna is an Executive Board Member of British Medical Laser Association (BMLA) and Scientific Committee, as well as chair of Photobiomodulation Working Group. focusing on neuropathic pain and adverse effects induced by oncology treatments. In March 2022, Prof. Hanna received the โLife Achievement Awardโ from European Medical Laser Association for recognising her valuable contributions to the laser community.

Dr. Venera Berisha-Muharremi
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Venera Berisha-Muharremi, is a specialist of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, and founder of the Private Endomedica Polyclinic based in Prishtina from 2014. She works closely with Laser Medicine as a Medical Advisor and Laser Medicine Associates. Prof. Venera Berisha-Muharremi is currently the resident Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Prishtina, Kosovo and was formally the Head of the University Endocrinology Clinic in University Clinical Center of Kosovo, 2018-2021.
In 2021 Prof. Venera Berisha-Muharremi partnered with Laser Medicine, and became a member of the British Laser Medical Association (BMLA) to study and develop protocols in Photobiomodulation Therapy for the improvement of thyroid function in the case of hypothyroidism caused by Hashimoto’s disease. Prof. Venera Berisha-Muharremi brings the innovation in Photobiomodulation Therapy to Kosovo for the first time, having combined British knowledge and International research to develop an effective protocol for the medical treatment of the thyroid gland with laser.

The clinical study developed by Laser Medicine Associates – Clinical Endocrinologist Prof. Venera Berisha- Muharremi, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgeon Prof. Reem Hanna and Therapeutic Laser Consultant, Ruth Phypers MA, was published in the Journal of Personalised Medicine (August 2023).
Clinical Study 2024: The Efficacy of Multiwavelength Red and Near-Infrared Transdermal Photobiomodulation Light Therapy in Enhancing Female Fertility Outcomes and Improving Reproductive Health: A Prospective Case Series with 9-Month Follow-Up
The clinical case study series focussed on the use of red light therapy for fertility, following the succesful conceptions and healthy live births of three patients with age-related infertility. Authored by Ruth Phypers, Prof. Venera Berisha-Muharremi, and Prof. Reem Hanna, the paper was published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine and the National Library of Medicine (October 2024).
