We are pleased to announce the start of a new monthly Therapeutic Laser / Photobiomodulation Clinic on Rodney Street in Liverpool. Laser Medicine Liverpool will save many of our patients the journey to London, as we now offer a full range of Laser Medicine treatments to the North West of England from our beautiful central Liverpool location.
Laser Medicine London was established in 2014 on Harley Street, London, the heart of London’s private medical district. 10 years on, Laser Medicine Liverpool opens at 88 Rodney Street, Liverpool, which was once described by the Liverpool Echo as the ‘Harley Street of the North’.
Low Level Laser Therapy, also known as Red Light Therapy or Photobiomodulation (PBM) is widely known to be effective for many medical conditions, including reproductive health, fertility and ovarian rejuvenation. We work in collaboration with several IVF clinics and gynaecologists to help patients improve their fertility and IVF outcomes. Therapeutic Laser for Fertility and Ovarian Rejuvenation has been clinically studied and proven since 1996 and we regularly see a significant increase in the number of viable embryos created, and successful pregnancies, for many of our patients. We really look forward to providing this safe and effective therapy for fertility and ovarian rejuvenation at Laser Medicine Liverpool.
Therapeutic Laser is different to ablative laser, as it does not create heat within the tissue. Instead, the healing wavelengths within the infrared and near infrared range of light, regenerate tissue as a result of improved blood flow and an increase in cellular energy. Because Therapeutic Laser is non-thermal, it is sometimes referred to as ‘Cold Laser’. A process of photobiomodulation increases the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) within the mitochondria, which improves cellular health throughout the body.
Other areas of specialism at Laser Medicine include the improvement of thyroid health (Hypothyroidism from Hashimoto’s Disease is also clinically studied), neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, post-operative wound healing and scar tissue, chronic pain, tissue repair, sports injuries and many musculoskeletal conditions.
Appointments can be made by contacting us directly, either by email or phone.
We very much look forward to working in the NW of England at Laser Medicine Liverpool, from June 1, 2024 onwards!
